Cameron Woman Killed in Auto Accident (Cameron) A Cameron woman has become Milam County's 22nd traffic fatality of 2000. Ebony Lormaine King, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene after her 80' model Chevy Caprice was struck broadside in the driver's side by a 1999 Ford pickup driven by Bruce Hall, 44 of Rockdale. Hall and an 11 month old infant in the King vehicle, Keanu Mccarter, were both taken to Central Texas Hospital with injuries. The accident happened around 8:45 a.m. today (Monday) at the intersection of 22nd and Travis in Cameron. The intersection has been the scene of many accidents in the past and is considered one of the city's most dangerous traffic intersections. King is the 2nd 18-year old Cameron resident killed in accidents here in Cameron over the past 4 weeks. Jerry Scott Proctor was killed November 16th when the car he was a passenger in, slammed into an apartment complex near the intersection of West 4th and FM 2269 in Cameron.
