Overnight Sausage


1-16 oz. Pkg. Pork Sausage
1/3 cup each Green and Red Bell Peppers
6 cups cubed 3/4" French Bread
1-1/2 cups Fat Free Half and Half
1/4 Cup Buttery Spread, melted
3 large Eggs
1 tsp. Onion Salt
6 oz. Cheddar Cheese, shredded
Cook sausage and peppers over med. heat until sausage is brown. Drain off fat. Stir sausage mixture and bread cubes together in large bowl. Place mixture into ungreased 8" square baking dish. Set aside. Combine half and half, buttery spread, eggs and onion salt in a bowl. Beat on med. until well mixed (approx. 1 min.). Pour egg mixture evenly over bread/sausage mixture in dish. Sprinkle cheese over top. Cover tightly, refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Uncover dish and bake 40-45 mins. or until inserted knife comes out clean. Let stand 5 mins. Makes 6 servings.
