Chewy Oatmeal Cookies

3/4 cup Crisco

1-1/4 cup light Brown Sugar, firmly packed

1 Egg
1/3 cup Milk
1-1/2 tsp. Vanilla
1 cup Flour
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
1 cup Raisins
1 cup Pecans, chopped
3 cups Quick Oats, dry
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease cookie sheet. Combine crisco, brown sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla in large bowl and beat at med. speed until well blended. Combine oats, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Mix into creamed mix at low speed just until blended. Stir in raisins and pecans. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto baking sheet. Bake 1 sheet at a time for 10-12 mins. or until lightly browned. Cool 2 mins. on sheet. Remove to cooling rack. Makes 2-1/2 dozen.
