Apple Dumplings

2 cans Crescent Rolls

2 Granny Smith Apples (peeled, cored, sliced into 8ths)
2/3 can Mountain Dew
1-1/2 sticks Butter, melted
1-1/2 cups Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
Cinnamon, if desired

Separate crescents, roll 1 slice apple in each one, pinch ends to seal. Place in 9x13 pan. To make sauce, combine ingredients, then spoon over dumplings. Pour about 10 oz. Mountain Dew over dumplings. Bake at 350 until brown. Check at 30 min. Add a few craisins for more flavor.
