Southern Dessert Pecan


6 tbsp Butter
1 c Pecans
1-1/2 c Self-Rising Flour
1-1/2 c Granulated Sugar
2/3 c Milk
1 tsp Vanilla
1-1/2 c Packed Light Brown Sugar
1-1/2 c Hot Water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add butter to 9x13 cake pan or casserole dish and melt in oven. Once butter is melted, sprinkle pecans over butter. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, milk, and vanilla. Stir to combine, but don't over mix. Pour batter over butter and pecans, but do not mix. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over batter, but do not stir. Carefully pour hot water over mix, but do not stir. Bake 30-35 min or until golden brown.
