Cracker Barrel Old

Country Store Copycat


2-1/4 c Bisquick

2/3 c Buttermilk

1 tsp Granulated Sugar
1 tbsp Butter, melted
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix first 3 ingredients together. Add 1 tbsp melted butter to batter. Stir until soft dough forms. Turn onto surface that has been dusted with flour. Knead 20 times, roll 1/2-inch thick, cut with a cutter into biscuits, and place in an ungreased 8" square cake pan. Brush tops with melted butter. Place biscuits next to each other, when they have all been placed in pan, flatten slightly. Bake 8-10 min.
