Earthquake Cake

1 c Chopped Pecans

1 c Coconut
1 stick Butter
8 oz Cream Cheese
1 lb Confectioners Sugar
1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix
Spread pecans on bottom of buttered/greased 13x9 cake pan. On top of nuts, place coconut. Prepare cake mix per directions on box then pour over pecans and coconut. Do not stir. In a saucepan, melt butter and cream cheese. Stir in confectioners sugar. Pay close attention to mix in pan, as it can scorch easily. It is best to use a heavy bottom pan. Pour cream cheese mix over top of cake batter. Do not stir. Bake in preheated oven at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. The cake should crack in the middle, hence Earthquake Cake.
