Savory Italian


1 stick Butter
1 pkg. Hot Dog Buns
1 pkg. Italian Dressing Mix
Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Separate buns into halves and slice each half lengthwise to make 4 pieces per bun. Place buns on cookie sheet to dry out for at least a day. You can put them in the oven and turn the oven light on to accelerate the process. Melt butter and add envelope of dressing mix. Stir until thoroughly mixed. Using pastry brush, cover top surface of each dried breadstick and return to cookie sheet. Place in 200 degree oven for 2 hours. Serve with Ranch salad dressing for dipping.
