Congratulations to the Yoemen Band for earning straight first division ratings from all six judges at the UIL Region 8 Concert and Sightreading Competition held at the C.H. Yoe Performing Arts Center. The Yoemen Band was one of only four bands to earn straight first division ratings. This is the second year in-a-row for the band to earn the coveted sweepstakes trophy. The sweepstakes trophy is earned by making a first division in marching, concert and sightreading.
Lady Yoe Ace Alyssa Fincher took the loss as the Lady Yoe fell to Taylor 4-0 in District action Wednesday night. The Yoe bats were silent as Taylor`s Freshman pitcher tossed a no-hitter.
