Groundbreaking Held for New Primary School

     Groundbreaking ceremonies were held Wednesday morning for Cameron's new 60,000 square foot Primary School.  Groundwork began last week for both the school and the new highschool gymnasium begin constructed simultaneously.   The New school will be located on Cameron ISD's 54 acre tract along East 21st Street.   The New 23,500 Square Foot Gymnasium will be constructed west of the present gym.  The Elementary school was constructed on the West end of the property in 1994 and the Oxsheer Smith Sports Complex was added in 1995.
