More than 100 Milam County residents attend Futures Forum County Extension Agent Dusty Tittle moderates Futures Forum |
Extention Service Hosts Futures Forum The Milam County Extension Service and the Milam County Commissioners Court sponsored a Futures Forum Tuesday night at the Cameron Jr. High School. 170 invitations were sent out to a cross section of Milam County residents, and 105 attended to study methods to improve the quality of life in Milam County. County Extension Agent Dusty Tittle moderated the event. Tittle said top issues identified included health care, public road systems, political accountability, and agronomic competitiveness. (Tittle's statement) A second meeting called a "Focus Forum" will be held in about two weeks. At that meeting, a smaller group of agency representatives will come together to address the issues that were brought about at Tuesday's meeting. |
