German Chocolate Upside Down Cake




Butter & Flour to prepare pan
1 Cup sweetened Flaked coconut
1 Cup finely chopped pecans
3 1/2 Cups powdered sugar
1 Cup butter, melted
1 8oz. Pkg. Cream Cheese
1 Box German Chocolate Cake Mix with Pudding
3 Large eggs
1/3 Cup vegetable Oil
1/4 Cup water

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Grease & Flour 9X13" pan.  Sprinkle coconut & pecans evenly on bottom of prepared pan, set aside.  Place powdered sugar, melted butter & cream cheese in a large bowl.  Blend 30 seconds on low, then 1 min. on medium.  In another large bowl, put cake mix, water, oil & eggs.  Blend on low 1 min., then 2 minutes on med. until smooth.  Pour cake mix into pan.  Spoon cream cheese mixture on top of batter leaving a 1" border of cake mix on all sides.  Spread smooth.  Bake 45-50 min.  Cool cake on wire rack for 20 min.  Run a knife around edge of cake & invert onto serving plate.  Cool 20 more minutes.  Slice & serve.
