Deer Hunter's Delight




4 Cups chopped fresh pears, (peeled and cored)


2 cups sugar

Cream Sugar, nuts and pears.  Let stand 1 hour.  Stirring occasionally.  Mix dry ingredients, add to pear mixture.  Add oil, vanilla and eggs.  Mix by hand.  Pour into a well greased tube pan and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes @ 350 degrees.

1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

1 tsp. nutmeg

1 tsp. cinnamon

3 cups flour
1 tsp. salt.
2 tsp. baking soda
1 cut vegetable oil
3 eggs (well beaten)
1 tsp. vanilla
