(CAMERON) Each Milam County Precinct is set to host clean-up events in May. 

Every Saturday, Precincts 1, 3, and 4 will be open from 8AM-2PM to accept items such as unbundled brush, furniture, and the like. The Precinct 1 Barn is located at 600 E. Main in Buckholts and they will NOT accept paints, appliances with freon, older tube TVs, tires, hazardous materials, and medical waste. The Precinct 3 Barn is located at 107 N. FM487 in Rockdale and the Precinct 4 Barn is located at 501 E. US79 in Thorndale. At both of those locations, they will NOT accept hazardous materials (paints, gas, fuel containers, oils and oil containers, etc.), large appliances (dishwashers, fridges, stoves, A/C units, etc.), liquid, solvents, freon, chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, tires, manure, dead animals, computers, TVs, batteries, asbestos, biohazard or medical waste, propane tanks, or fluorescent light bulbs. The Precinct 2 Barn is located at 3106 N. Travis in Cameron and will be open Mondays-Thursdays this month. They will not accept paint, appliances with freon, tires, old tube TVs, hazardous materials, and medical waste. For info, call your county commissioner.
