(CAMERON) The Milam County 4th of July Celebration will take place in Cameron this year.
The City of Cameron and the Cameron Chamber of Commerce invite everyone to downtown Cameron at 4PM July 4th for the celebration of Independence Day. Activities kick off with a kids zone full of games. Kids can play all day for a $5 wristband. There will also be hot dogs from Citizens National Bank and lemonade from Central Avenue Bistro. A water slide will be on site. Music will also be provided throughout the afternoon and food trucks will be parked on the square. Contests will be held for ice cream and margaritas. There will not be fireworks because of the current fireworks ban and burn ban.
