(CAMERON) There was good news Tuesday on the COVID-19 front here.
Milam County Judge Steve Young said there were no new confirmed cases of the virus through PCR testing. That bit of news means the total and active case count here remains stagnant. There are 488 total cases since the pandemic began and 18 of those are active. There are 51 probable cases based on antigen testing, with 7 of those cases active. The Milam County Health Department is monitoring 63 people that had close contact with a person that tested positive. Three people are hospitalized and 6 patients have died.
