(HOLLAND) The son of 2 people found dead in their home near Holland has admitted his actions.
The Bell County Sheriff`s Office said 50-year-old James Keith Williams waived his constitutional and statutory rights before telling investigators he used a firearm to shoot his parents, 80-year-old Floyd Williams and 78-year-old Priscilla Williams. James Williams remains in Bell County Jail, charged with Capital Murder. Deputies had originally responded September 15th to a home in the 8500 block of Campbell Hill Road near Holland in reference to a welfare check. Deputies looked through the windows and saw an unresponsive person the floor. After making forced entry into the home, deputies found the 2 elder Williams dead of multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators say a daily medication log for the couple showed a final entry August 21st, meaning the pair were likely dead for nearly a month before they were discovered. A vehicle belonging to the couple was found in the possession of their son. James Williamson also has a lengthy criminal history with convictions from 1990 to 2020 for various offenses such as forgery, theft, vehicular theft, and assault of family members. He has faced charges in Bell, Travis, Williamson, McLennan, and Taylor counties.
