CAMERON ISD HIRES NEW HS PRINCIPAL NEW2017-01-10

(CAMERON) Cameron ISD is set to name a familiar face as principal at Yoe High School. 

Cameron ISD Superintendent Allan Sapp told KMIL today that Joe Oliver has been named Yoe High School principal. Sapp said Cameron ISD school board approved Oliver`s hiring on Monday. Oliver comes to Yoe High with over 29 years of administrative experience, including time as a superintendent, principal, and athletic director. He currently serves on multiple state boards, including the State Legislative Council, Texas High School Coaches Association Ethics Committee, and Alternative Certification Advisory Board. Oliver is also a household name in Cameron, having served as defensive coordinator for the 1981 state championship football team. Sapp said Cameron ISD will host a Meet & Greet for Oliver this Wednesday from 5:30-6:30PM at the High School cafeteria.
