(CAMERON) The Lady Yoe track team dominated in their recent meet in Gatesville. 

On Friday, the Lady Yoe took home the top prize as a team at the Gatesville meet. The relay teams were out in front and swept the top spot in each distance. The 4x100 featured Brittani Drake, Lavina Brown, Lauren Harris, and Yierra Flemings; the 4x200 included Seally Smith, Camryn Ward, Lauren Harris, and Brittani Drake; and the 4x400 was Seally Smith, Ja`Kerra Holt, Lauren Harris, and Brittani Drake. All 3 teams won gold. The Ladies also swept the top 3 spots in the 100m dash as Lavina Brown, Ja`Kerra Holt, and Jaycee Wimmer went 1-2-3 there. Trinity Kelley placed 3rd in the 200m and a pair of ladies took home the top 2 places in the 400: Lavina Brown and Ja`Kerra Holt. Meanwhile, Yierra Flemings placed 1st in both the 100 and 300 hurdles. Kyli Leftwich placed 3rd in the 300 hurdles. Fully healed from an injury in cross country, Logan Pevehouse dominated in distance running, taking home 1st in the 800 and 3200. In fact, the Ladies swept the top 3 prizes in the 3200 as Daisy Osorio and Gaby Garcia finished trailing only Pevehouse. Osorio would place 1st in the 1600 with Garcia in 2nd. Yierra Flemings won gold in long jump and triple jump with Lavina Brown placing 3rd in long jump and Brittani Drake taking silver in triple jump. Cameron also saw Kalie Collier take 1st and Aaliyah Fields 2nd in discus. Fields brought home gold in shot put as well. For high jump and pole vault, Ja`Kerra Holt added to her day with 1st place finishes. Ainsley Driska finished 3rd in high jump and Lauren Harris 2nd in pole vault.
