want to see a fireworks display this year. There will be no sanctioned
fireworks display for the 4th of July holiday here in Milam County this
year. The dry conditions and cost of putting on the fireworks show means
no fireworks for residents.

their 2nd Annual Bring Your Own Fireworks event on Thursday, July 4th.
Gates open at 3PM and fireworks will start at 9PM. Everyone is invited,
so bring your family, your grill, and your picnic to Apache Pass under
the pecan trees. There will be no charge at the gate, though you can
make a donation to the Milam County MARC Center.
area Independence Day celebrations, Milano will host a Parade, starting
