(GAUSE) At least one person in Gause ISD has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to a letter from Gause ISD Superintendent Brad Jones, parents and students were alerted to a possible exposure to a person that tested positive between September 9th and 11th. The Milam County Health Department has completed contact tracing and has contacted everyone in close contact with the person that tested positive. If you have not been contacted, you or your child was not in close contact and need not quarantine. If you or your child show symptoms of the virus, you should contact your health care provider. If you have questions, call the Milam County Health Department. Learning is not expected to be impacted by this positive test.
