(ROCKDALE)  Rockdale ISD Assistant Superintendent for Business Karl Kacir has resigned to accept a similar position with Midway ISD. 

During a regular meeting Monday, the Rockdale School Board accepted Kacir`s resignation with regret and began the search for his replacement. 

The position title will change with the new hire.  The position title will become Chief Financial Officer.

Kacir, 57, is a certified Public Accountant and former Temple School District employee.  Though he was not looking for a new job, he accepted the officer from Class 4A Midway saying it was a great opportunity.
