This in-person class is scheduled for Saturday February 1st , from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, Saturday February 1st, 2025, at Bea’s Kitchen in Cameron. A free Severe Weather Education class in Milam County. The SKYWARN Storm Spotter Training Class, the program will be held in partnership with Milam County Emergency Management. There is no cost to attend this class, no pre-registration is required, and you do not have to be a resident of Milam County to attend.

(MILAM) the 2025 Milam County Moot Court Competition take place February 12th and 13th (Wednesday and Thursday) at the Courthouse with teams from our Milam County High Schools competing in the competition.
In the past the entire event was housed in the courthouse, last year they utilized the Venue at Railfan as a place for the teams, the judges, and the sponsors to stage out of. By utilizing the venue, it gave everyone a place to relax, prepare for their next event, socialize with the other teams and the judges, and maybe even do some homework
