(CAMERON)  The TXDOT Bryan District is hosting a car seat and booster seat inspection event, Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 3pm – 5:30pm. Child Passenger Safety Technicians will provide education on proper usage and installation of car seats, along with inspection of the families’ current seats.    The event will be held at the Milam County Maintenance Office, located at 3303 North Travis, Cameron, Texas 76520. (CALDWELL)     Friday, April 11, 2025 – 2:00 – 4:00 PM – The Texas Czech Genealogical Society (TCGS) Czech Gift Shop will be open to the public at the Caldwell Civic Center, 103 Highway 21 W. Everyone is invited to come and shop for unique gifts, from the extensive collection of exquisite and interesting items including a huge array of Czech crystal, Bohemian glass, jewelry, textiles, children’s toys, many genealogy books, and much more.
There is no entrance fee.

TCGS will have a full day genealogy conference on Saturday April 12th, including a catered lunch at the Caldwell Civic Center. See www.txczgs.org for registration information. Everyone is invited to attend. You do not
have to be a TCGS member or of Czech heritage to attend.

(CAMERON) YHS Senior Citizen Luncheon  the menu for our final Senior Citizen Luncheon for this school year! The luncheon will be on April 17th from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. we are asking attendees to pick up a ticket for our FREE luncheon so that we can ensure we have enough for everyone that attends. Tickets may be picked up at the Yoe HS Kiosk between 8AM and 3PM until they are gone. We are limiting attendance to this luncheon to 50 attendees so stop by and pick up your tickets ASAP.
