Model Train Show is coming to Cameron

MILAM COUNTY RAILROAD MUSEUM ASSOCIATION TO HOST TRAIN SHOW
A spectacular Model Train Show is coming to Cameron, Texas April 5, 2025. The one-day show will begin Saturday at 9AM and run until 5PM. The “The Venue on Railfan” 101 West Main on the courthouse square in downtown Cameron is hosting the event. Admission is five dollars for train enthusiasts 12 years and older, families ten dollars.
Featured at the show will be vendors selling gently used model train equipment of N, HO, O and G Scale sizes, books, videos, and railroad equipment. In addition, the Brazos Valley Model Railroad Club will be displaying their HO scale modular layout, the San Antonio Heritage Railroad Museum will bring their G scale Emmit Kelley Circus Train, and the Austin Brick Railroad will be showing off their huge LEGO train layout. Railroad Museums from across Texas will have booths with information to share. The Milam Railroad Association will be accepting donations for a chance to win a complete HO scale train set. Also, Museum Volunteer, Melissa Green will be doing a book signing of her first coloring book intitled “The Adventures of Spike the Railroad Dog”. The book is inspired by her love of trains and the museum’s stuffed mascot “Spike”. Proceeds from the coloring book will go to support the Milam County Railroad Museum Association.
