TEMPLE FIRE 2021-03-01

(TEMPLE) A recreational vehicle burned to the ground Saturday in the Temple area.

Temple Fire & Rescue responded about 10:28PM Saturday to a structure fire in the 13,000 block of FM2305 near Cumberland Drive. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from what was described as a 5th wheel style travel trailer. A fast attack by crews allowed them to quickly douse the blaze, though the RV was a total loss. The fire was under control in less than a half hour. The only occupant of the RV was not home at the time. There were no injuries. A total of 6 units and 15 personnel responded. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
